Transgender Day of Remembrance Service - MoCo

Please join us at the 5th annual MoCo MD TDOR event, as we remember those taken from us by anti-transgender violence and transphobia through murder and suicide -- centering the experiences of trans women of color, who continue to be targeted in our community and country as well as around the world. We especially remember Zella Ziona, a trans woman of color murdered in Gaithersburg in October.

We share our grief and anger, appreciate the lives and gifts of those lost, and commit to work towards trans-inclusive social justice. We offer a service with music, readings and speakers; quieter spaces attended by listeners/companions, a candelight vigil, and a simple supper.
